Tijdens de renovatie van het appartement is er voor gekozen om zoveel mogelijk historische/authentieke elementen in stand te houden. Het thema van de kamer is Frans Hals, een van de 'Grote Drie' Nederlandse schilders, naast van Rijn en Vermeer. Tegelijkertijd is het appartement van alle moderne gemakken voorzien. Een combinatie van oud en modern! Het slaapgedeelte is voorzien van een King Size bed en een grote TV met chromecast. Eventueel is er voor een derde persoon een grote slaapbank beschikbaar. Al het linnengoed is vervaardigd van Egyptisch katoen voor optimaal comfort. Deze ruimte bevat geen keuken, wel is er een koffiehoek voorzien van alle benodigdheden zoals koffie cups, 4 soorten thee, koekjes, borden, kopjes en bestek. Daarnaast staat een gezellige bistro tafel om te kunnen ontbijten, lunchen of avondeten. Mocht je voedsel koud willen bewaren, staat er links naast de bank een mini koelkastje. Hou er rekening mee dat deze charmante en authentieke ruimte zich bevindt op de derde verdieping en het smalle trappen/doorgangen heeft.
